We started early on Tuesday heading to Kharkiv to collect the aid we posted over the weekend and load up our vans. We use Nova Poshta extensively to reduce costs of fuel and post aid shipments to our partners.

With the vans loaded full of aid from Ziaja, VanAid and UniSerge we headed towards Kramatorsk, Donetsk oblast.

Our journey took us through Chuhuiv and Izyum, medium sized towns liberated in late 2022. As well as Slovyansk, located around 45km from Bakhmut. Witnessing the total destruction of multiple communities along the M03 highway. But also seeing some rebuilding and de-mining improvements since my last visit to the area in March 2023.

Both of the aid deliveries to our partners included essential personal hygiene goods which will be distributed to locals in the city as well as surrounding front line villages. A mixture of Ukrainian and international volunteers help on last mile deliveries to the front line.

Please check out an interview with one of our partners describing their work in more detail.
