UAid Direct USA, a 501(c)3 charitable organization was formed to bolster the efforts of the volunteers on the ground with UAid Direct, a charity registered in Ukraine on October, 31, 2022.

UAid Direct was originally founded as a volunteer group in April, 2022. This dedicated team includes 3-5 long term volunteers on the ground in Poland and Ukraine, 3-4 remote volunteers who handle operational logistics and fundraising located in Ukraine, Europe and the USA, along with 6-8 short-term volunteers who arrive throughout the year to assist with transport.

Our Mission

Our organization was founded with the belief that every act of kindness can create a ripple effect of hope and resilience. By providing financial assistance to the selfless, dedicated and unpaid volunteers on the ground with our sister organization, UAid Direct, we are able to assist them in providing immediate and effective humanitarian relief to the victims of the unprovoked conflict with russia.

The Team at UAid Direct sources, receives, warehouses and transports essential supplies. These supplies are sourced as donations from a number of partners from all over the world. Thanks to these organizations, we receive a large amount of medical and hygienic supplies, as well as food and clothing, that we are able to deliver to those in severe need. Our goal is to make delivery via the fastest and safest route available into Ukraine within 72 hours of receiving an approved request.

At UAid Direct USA, we bring hope and critical humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable communities in war-torn Ukraine. We provide essentials like medical supplies, hygiene products, food, clothing, and reconstruction support to those who need it most, including children, women, the elderly, and the disabled.

How We Were Formed

In March 2022, as the crisis in Ukraine unfolded, UAid Direct was born on the Polish border to address the urgent needs of displaced and vulnerable populations in Ukraine. Inspired by their efforts, short-term volunteers founded UAid Direct USA in June 2024 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This U.S.-based branch was created to mobilize financial and volunteer support for UAid Direct’s critical missions.

Together with our global partners and volunteers, we’ve delivered over 60 tons of humanitarian aid in 2024, all while spearheading impactful projects like the reconstruction of the Mykolaiv Region Orphanage and the refitting of maternity clinics and schools.

What We Do

Our Board of Directors is completely volunteer. We are three ordinary people who have spent time in Ukraine working with UAid Direct transporting medical and hygenic aid across the border and have witnessed first hand both the atrocities and the need that exists.

We have had the opportunity to work alongside volunteers from all over the world who have come together with one goal in mind: to help those who are often overlooked, neglected, vulnerable and unable to evacuate. This group includes infants and children in orphanages, the elderly and disabled in nursing homes, and those in domestic violence shelters, safe houses and hospitals. UAid Direct sources, receives, warehouses and transports aid to these vulnerable communities.

We are committed to supporting the ongoing efforts of the volunteers at UAid Direct, our sister organization on the ground in Ukraine.

We formed UAid Direct USA because the people of Ukraine need the help they only receive because of the work of UAid Direct.
